Privacy Policy
Last updated May 30, 2026
Xpost or Lost (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent service operated by Yehor Serdiuk. This policy explains what we collect when you join our waitlist or visit this site, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it deliberately short and will update it as the product grows.
What we collect
- Your email address — required to join the waitlist and to send you launch updates.
- Your X handle — optional, so we know who you are and can tailor early access.
- Basic technical data — our hosting provider records standard request logs (such as your IP address and browser type), and Plausible measures page views without storing personal data.
We do not ask for passwords, payment details, or access to your X account. Joining the waitlist connects nothing and grants us no ability to post on your behalf.
Why we use it
- To add you to the waitlist and reserve your place.
- To email you launch news, early-access invites, and related product updates.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To prevent spam and abuse of the signup form.
Where the law requires a legal basis (for example, under the GDPR), we rely on your consent when you submit the form and on our legitimate interest in running and protecting the waitlist.
Who else handles your data
We don’t sell your information or share it for anyone else’s marketing. We do rely on a few trusted service providers that process data on our behalf:
- A cloud hosting provider that serves this site and keeps request logs.
- An email delivery provider that sends the welcome message and updates.
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that measures site usage without collecting personal data or tracking you across sites.
These providers may process data in countries including the United States and Ukraine, so your information may be transferred across borders.
Cookies & analytics
We use Plausible Analytics to understand how the site is used. Plausible is privacy-focused: it doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t collect personal data, and doesn’t track you across websites — so this site doesn’t need a cookie banner.
How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist details until you ask us to remove them, or until we launch and migrate you into the product (or decide not to proceed), whichever comes first.
Your choices and rights
At any time you can:
- Unsubscribe using the link in any email we send.
- Ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.
- Object to or withdraw your consent to marketing emails.
If you’re in the EEA or UK, the GDPR gives you these rights along with the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. If you’re in California, we don’t sell your personal information and you may request access or deletion. To exercise any of this, just email us.
Children
Xpost or Lost isn’t intended for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date above. For significant changes that affect people already on the waitlist, we’ll let you know by email.
